Michaela Spru\u017einov\u00e1 (1983 Decin) studied at the Glass studio of Ilya Bilek and curatorial studies at the Faculty of Art and Design, the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyn\u011b in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem. She currently works at the University of Tomas Bata in Zlin, as an assistant in the Glass Design Studio.<\/p>

Although Michaela graduated in glass, conceptual overlaps and interest in the place and its traditions can be traced in her work ever since her studies. In 2008, during her study visit in Jerusalem she cast pieces of her temporary home in wax and worked with the issue of tramping, which has been since childhood an important part of her life\u00a0Nevertramping story<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>(<\/i>2012)<\/i>. At the same time she began persuading memories of places for which she created projects. She organized a collection of old Skoda parts in Mlada Boleslav (2011) and for the synagogue in Trnava created the work\u00a0until our<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>memory serves<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>(2013)<\/i>, reflecting local events during the Second World War. In 2014, Michaela has created, apart from lines of identity, two other projects reacting to the history and memory of the place. Based on archival research, she wrote on the gallery Board in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem memories of Germans that owned the house across the gallery before the war. In the Ploskovice castle that housed Napoli, took Michaela photographs of castle gardens visitors with the spirit of one of the then prot\u00e9g\u00e9s, a little boy raised to be an SS officer.<\/p>

However, the project Line of identity goes beyond a particular place. It responds to the situation, which was caused by the publication of video from the archive of Steven Spielberg filmed shortly after the World War II. near Plzen. Together with the German army a young girl is leaving Bohemia, beaten and possibly raped, dressed in a men\u2019s German uniform. The girl is desperate, but despite it very charismatic. Following the publication of shots called\u00a0Lost German Girl<\/i>\u00a0on\u00a0YouTube<\/i>, a group was created on the Internet that is trying to find her identity. When and where was the video filmed, from what country the units came, and to which camps were deported, how the girl in large men\u2019s clothes clutching a package of worthless Reichsmarks in her hands ended up between them? These are the questions that interest people from this Internet Group.<\/p>

But why did it happen? How did a girl walking down the road after seventy years come into the center of interest of people living on different continents? What makes her so close to us? Is not she a projection of the common feeling, which remained in us from the Second World War across nations? How much has the world became smaller since and what holds value in today’s globalized information village? What unites it and what divides? How does the story of the lost girl correspond to the current situation? These are all the other lines, over which we can, through the project of Michaela Spru\u017einov\u00e1, think.<\/p>

<\/a>Michaela Spru\u017einov\u00e1 (1983, D\u011b\u010d\u00edn) vystudovala Ateli\u00e9r skla Ilji B\u00edlka a Kur\u00e1torsk\u00e1 studia na Fakult\u011b um\u011bn\u00ed a designu Univerzity Jana Evangelisty Purkyn\u011b v\u00a0\u00dast\u00ed nad Labem. V\u00a0sou\u010dasn\u00e9 dob\u011b p\u016fsob\u00ed na Univerzit\u011b Tom\u00e1\u0161e Bati ve Zl\u00edn\u011b, jako asistentka v\u00a0Ateli\u00e9ru Design skla.<\/p>

A\u010dkoli Michaela vystudovala sklo konceptu\u00e1ln\u00ed p\u0159esahy a z\u00e1jem o m\u00edsto a jeho tradice m\u016f\u017eeme v\u00a0jej\u00ed tvorb\u011b vysledovat ji\u017e od dob studi\u00ed. V\u00a0roce 2008 na st\u00e1\u017ei v\u00a0Jeruzal\u00e9m\u011b odl\u00e9vala kusy sv\u00e9ho do\u010dasn\u00e9ho domova do vosku a v\u011bnovala se t\u00e9matice trampingu, kter\u00fd je od d\u011btstv\u00ed d\u016fle\u017eitou sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed jej\u00edho \u017eivota Nevertramping story ( 2012)<\/i>. Sou\u010dasn\u011b se za\u010dala v\u011bnovat pam\u011bti m\u00edst, pro kter\u00e9 sv\u00e9 projekty vytv\u00e1\u0159ela. V\u00a0Mlad\u00e9 Boleslavi uspo\u0159\u00e1dala sb\u00edrku d\u00edl\u016f star\u00fdch \u0161kodovek (2011) a pro trnavskou synagogu vytvo\u0159ila d\u00edlo Dokud n\u00e1m pam\u011b\u0165 slou\u017e\u00ed<\/i> (2013) reflektuj\u00edc\u00ed m\u00edstn\u00ed ud\u00e1losti za druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky.<\/p>

V roce 2014 Michaela vytvo\u0159ila krom\u011b Lini\u00ed identity dva dal\u0161\u00ed projekty reaguj\u00edc\u00ed na historii a pam\u011b\u0165 m\u00edsta. Na z\u00e1klad\u011b archivn\u00edho v\u00fdzkumu vypsala na galerii Deska v\u00a0\u00dast\u00ed nad Labem vzpom\u00ednky na N\u011bmce, kter\u00fdm p\u0159ed v\u00e1lkou pat\u0159il d\u016fm naproti galerie. V\u00a0z\u00e1mku Ploskovice, kde s\u00eddlila Napola1<\/a><\/sup>, Michaela fotografovala n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvn\u00edky z\u00e1meck\u00e9 zahrady s\u00a0duchem jednoho z\u00a0tehdej\u0161\u00edch chr\u00e1n\u011bnc\u016f, s\u00a0mal\u00fdm chlapcem vychov\u00e1van\u00fdm na d\u016fstojn\u00edka SS.<\/p>

Projekt Linie identity<\/i> v\u0161ak p\u0159ekra\u010duje hranice konkr\u00e9tn\u00edho m\u00edsta. Reaguje na situaci, kterou vyvolalo zve\u0159ejn\u011bn\u00ed videa z\u00a0archivu Stevena Spielberga nato\u010den\u00e9ho kr\u00e1tce po II. sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lce u Plzn\u011b. Spolu s\u00a0n\u011bmeckou arm\u00e1dou odch\u00e1z\u00ed z\u00a0\u010cech i mlad\u00e1 d\u00edvka, zbit\u00e1 a pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b i zn\u00e1siln\u011bn\u00e1, v\u00a0p\u00e1nsk\u00e9 n\u011bmeck\u00e9 uniform\u011b. D\u00edvka je zoufal\u00e1, ale i p\u0159es to je velmi charizmatick\u00e1. Po zve\u0159ejn\u011bn\u00ed jejich z\u00e1b\u011br\u016f pod n\u00e1zvem Lost German Girl<\/i> na YouTube se na internetu vytvo\u0159ila skupina, kter\u00e1 se sna\u017e\u00ed vyp\u00e1trat jej\u00ed identitu. Kdy a kde bylo video nato\u010deno, z\u00a0jak\u00e9 zem\u011b jednotky poch\u00e1zely a do jak\u00fdch t\u00e1bor\u016f byly deportov\u00e1ny, jak se mezi nimi ocitla d\u00edvka v\u00a0p\u00e1nsk\u00fdch velk\u00fdch \u0161atech sv\u00edraj\u00edc\u00ed v\u00a0ruk\u00e1ch bal\u00ed\u010dek bezcenn\u00fdch \u0159\u00ed\u0161sk\u00fdch marek? To jsou ot\u00e1zky, kter\u00fdmi se zab\u00fdvaj\u00ed lid\u00e9 z\u00a0on\u00e9 internetov\u00e9 skupiny.<\/p>

Jen\u017ee pro\u010d se to stalo? Jak se d\u00edvka jdouc\u00ed po silnici po sedmdes\u00e1ti letech dostala do centra z\u00e1jmu lid\u00ed bydl\u00edc\u00edch na r\u016fzn\u00fdch kontinentech? \u010c\u00edm je n\u00e1m tak bl\u00edzk\u00e1? Nen\u00ed zobrazen\u00edm spole\u010dn\u00e9ho pocitu, kter\u00fd v\u00a0n\u00e1s z\u00a0II. sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky z\u016fstal nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d n\u00e1rody? Jak moc se od t\u00e9 doby sv\u011bt zmen\u0161il a jak\u00e1 hodnoty zast\u00e1v\u00e1 v sou\u010dasn\u00e9 globalizovan\u00e9 informa\u010dn\u00ed vesnici? Co ho spojuje a co odsuzuje? Jak p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh ztracen\u00ed d\u00edvky koresponduje se sou\u010dasnou situac\u00ed?
