The artist studies older artwork to integrate elements such as light, framing, and posture into their work. The images' underwater dimension lends an otherworldly feel, encapsulating both drama and tranquillity in an inaccessible setting. It is part of the PORTRAITS HELLERAU PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2023 exhibition.
